I was born in Cento (Ferrara) on May 12, 1986. Following in my father’s footsteps—he too was a player—I started having fun with basketball at the age of seven.
The game turned into a dream when I joined the Fortitudo Bologna youth system, where I made my Serie A debut on October 14, 2004, at just 18 years old.

The dream became reality through a long journey that included 7 seasons in Serie A with Bologna, Avellino, and Pistoia—winning a league title with Bologna in 2004/2005 as a young player, and achieving my best result as a protagonist in Pistoia, reaching Game 5 of the playoff quarterfinals, lost against Milan, who went on to win the championship.
I also played 10 seasons in Serie A2 with Veroli, Verona, Ferrara, Udine, Montegranaro, and Mantova, earning promotion with Pistoia in 2012/13 and being named league MVP with Ferrara in 2017/18.
I wore the blue jersey of the national team with Italy’s Under-20 squad in 2005 and Under-22 in 2008.
During my five seasons as team captain, I refined my attitude as a patient leader and came to fully understand how much athletes need a reliable and constant point of reference throughout their careers.

After a few conversations with Marco Valenza, my agent throughout my entire playing career, the idea was born—once I hung up my sneakers—to start a new chapter by collaborating with MVP Agency, currently as a trainee sports agent.
